Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Server to join our team at Le Petit Chef Fine Dining Experience, an immersive and interactive culinary adventure. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional service and a deep understanding of fine dining standards. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding guest experience, guiding diners through each course of the meal while maintaining the high standards of service expected in a fine dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service Excellence: Provide attentive, personalized service to guests throughout their dining experience, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and warmth.

  • Course Presentation and Timing: Serve each course with precision and timing, ensuring that food is presented at the right temperature and guests receive the correct course at the appropriate time.

  • Interactive Experience: Work in conjunction with the show host and kitchen staff to enhance the immersive dining experience. Engage with guests in a friendly and approachable manner, supporting the interactive elements of the meal.

  • Menu Knowledge: Be highly knowledgeable about the menu, including food, wine, and beverage pairings. Provide recommendations and answer any questions about the ingredients, preparation, and flavor profiles.

  • Upselling: Suggest wine pairings, additional courses, and specialty items to enhance the guest experience and contribute to the restaurant’s success.

  • Maintain Fine Dining Standards: Adhere to all fine dining etiquette and service standards, from table settings to the manner in which food and beverages are served.

  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the kitchen, show host, and other servers to ensure a seamless and efficient dining experience.

  • Guest Relationship Management: Foster positive guest relationships by making personalized recommendations, responding to guest inquiries, and ensuring every guest’s needs are met promptly.

  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean, organized work area, including the dining room and service stations, while ensuring that all equipment is properly stocked and functional.

  • Professional Appearance: Ensure you maintain a polished and refined appearance, adhering to the restaurant’s dress code and grooming standards at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a server in a fine dining environment is required. Knowledge of upscale dining etiquette and service techniques is essential.

  • Ability to engage with guests, provide clear explanations of the menu, and ensure all needs are met.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

  • Strong attention to detail in food and beverage service, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

  • Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods, carry trays, and work efficiently throughout the duration of the shift.

  • Ability to work effectively with other team members, including chefs, hosts, and fellow servers, to ensure the success of the service.

  • A friendly, engaging, and professional attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service to every guest.

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the restaurant’s hours of operation.
