How you’ll make an impact:

The Operations Manager provides leadership and analytical skills to ensure our International Partners/Exclusive Brands have the right product, in the right place, at the right time. This role involves making daily decisions that maximize profitability and has a large impact on sales, margin, and inventory. The manager is on the frontline to communicate all issues that could impact sales. The manager works cross-functionally and must be able to clearly interpret issues to upper management.

This role reports into the Sr. Manager of Operations and will have 1-2 direct reports

Manage Order File / Forecasting / Coverage (30%) - Monitor, review, and track all inbound and outbound product to ensure it is on schedule to meet the required customer ship date. Communicate with transportation/warehouse teams to execute on time shipment. Determine the business impact of any delivery issues, prioritize, and communicate any issues relative to product flow as they arise. Compile all necessary documentation for customer value added services and customs compliance for import into final country destinations. Complete weekly coverage reporting that is publish to cross-functional partners.

Reporting/Project Management (25%)- Execute and weekly report to leadership and cross functional teams on revenue across International and Domestic accounts and on operational performance of the brand. Be an Operations team SME for high priority and new company initiatives and system rollouts. Proactively uncover opportunities to improve processes and create efficient tools.

  • Analytics (15%) - Weekly execution and communication of performance dashboards to leadership. Weekly execution of OTIF reporting to leadership. Complete any additional ad hoc reporting requirements.

  • Internal Liaison (15%) - Act as the point person between the Accounts Receivables, S&OP, Forecasting/Planning, Transportation, Sales, DC, and IT teams to ensure any issues related to on-time delivery are handled to drive growth

  • External Liaison (15%) - Daily customer interaction. Attend meetings with external customer teams and provide information and support as needed for clear communication and positive results.

Must have:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects simultaneously

  • Must be customer focused and have a sense of urgency

  • Understanding of inventory metrics

  • Working knowledge of key financial metrics

  • Ability to present to an audience ranging from Vice President to Analyst

  • Ability to combine analytical skills with practical business knowledge

  • Candidate must have a strong focus and proven attention to detail

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and an intermediate/advanced user of Excel

  • 5+ years of operations experience

  • Preferred skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • Strong numeric, analytical, and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent communication, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills

  • Team player who works well in a collaborative environment

SUPERVISORY / BUDGETARY / EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITY
