How You'll Make an Impact

The Project Coordinator is responsible for the project scope, schedule, and issue/risk management.

In this role, you may lead smaller projects under the direction of a Project Manager/Program Manager. Assist stakeholders to help manage resource bandwidth/conflicts to ensure the timely and orderly flow of all project

deliverables across work streams.

Additionally, as the Project Coordinator, you are expected to generate new ideas, approaches, and strategies that streamline the delivery process, enhance team communication, and ensure work is always on-time and accurate. We need someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You'll maintain your composure and guide your team through consistent delivery of high quality work.

This is a hybrid, on-site role, based in our Buckhead Office.

Overall project scope, schedule, and issue/risk management (70%)

  • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through all stages of project scope, development, execution, and maintenance

  • Ensuring projects adhere to PMO frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project

  • Lead status and stakeholder meetings including distribution of follow-up and action items to the team

  • Ensuring project deadlines are met

  • Assess and communicate project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable

  • Develop and communicate an in-depth understanding of project scope and particulars, e.g. timeframes, financials, outcomes, etc.

  • Understanding and leading formal escalation and review processes

  • Creating and reviewing of PMO related reports

  • Act as a knowledge manager for the IT team, managing databases and/or portals designed to help facilitate communications and coordination of various activities

Coordination and support (30%)

  • Providing project management support to project managers and business leaders when requested

  • Leading efforts around invoice tracking, contract management, project consolidation, and other needs across the IT Leadership team and PMO.

  • Assist with various office functions including ordering supplies for the department, managing calendars, scheduling activities, and communicating with the CIO

  • Manage lists for IT contracts, terms, amounts, entitlements, and call-out renewal periods. Assist managers with outside contract needs.

  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for projects and IT leadership and

  • other leadership team meetings

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field of study

  • 1 - 2 years of experience of Project Management experience - Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team - Experience using computers for a variety of tasks

  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Project and Outlook

  • Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures

  • Exemplary communication skills (written, presentation, meeting management, documentation.

  • Strong project delivery skills - accurate project planning, delivering to milestone dates, managing resources effectively, communicating status effectively, managing risks, and juggling multiple activities simultaneously to accomplish goals.

  • Able to work effectively and build relationships with employees at all levels. Ability to establish new processes and systems.

  • Able to coordinate and motivate cross-functional team members not under his/her direct supervision.

  • Able to manage multiple tasks at once, recognizing interdependencies & prioritizing appropriately, and handle confidential information responsibly
