Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Data Analyst will work as part of a cross-functional team to translate business outcomes into refined requirements, data models, and data transformation documentation which are used in the development of complex reporting and analytical solutions. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders and engineering teams at a business group, enterprise and global level to deliver analytical solutions to address business needs. You will enable the broader organization's focus on insights by maximizing the value of our data and digital core investments.
Key Accountabilities
Identify and analyze business needs, gather requirements and define the scope and objectives to drive business decisions.
Translate business needs into concrete data requirements through data mapping/ translation documentation, defining data profile and quality minimums, and defining specific transformation and/or calculation logic.
Work with large datasets to profile, scope and validate data completeness / quality
Build and maintain product level data models and supporting documentation, leveraging company or business level domain models as appropriate
Lead and support business teams through data validation and sign-off processes during testing activities
Lead analysis in collaboration with process and operations leadership to identify the top opportunities for improvement to track progress and impact future results.
Mentor and coach peers and recommend process improvements related to delivery and new methodologies.
Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of four years of related work experience
Experience translating complex business needs into data requirements generating data mapping/ translation documentation, data profile and quality minimums, and specific transformation and/or calculation logic with a proven track record of achieving successful, sustained business outcomes
Experience analyzing multiple complex business processes, the technical systems which support process execution and associated data
Deep familiarity with data modeling and data warehousing concepts
Knowledge of complex relational databases & database design principles
Strong problem-solving skills to interpret complex datasets and to synthesize complex requirements from multiple sources
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of related work experience
Proficiency in data modeling tools such as Erwin or ER/Studio
Ability to work with large datasets through data cleaning, preprocessing, and transformation techniques
Strong SQL skills for data querying, manipulation, and optimization
