Job Description
The Sr. Engineer, Application Development & Maintenance, responsible for delivering on critical initiatives in SAP SD supporting Medical Core System. TPM is the SAP ERP supporting the Medical Segment’s US Products & Distribution business, including systems supporting demand and supply planning and execution, customer relationship management, sales and distribution, pricing, rebates and incentives, and order management functions.
The Sr. Engineer is accountable for the successful execution, implementation, warranty support, and support transition of EIT deliverables for TPM owned solutions in the Sales and Distribution (SAP SD). Other accountabilities include:
Accountabilities
Execution and management of the Order to Cash functionality that supports the Medical business segment.
Provide leadership in planning/sequencing of end-to-end design workshops and support facilitation of workshops, leveraging knowledge of industry best practices and application of global SAP implementation experience.
Guide complex fit/gap analysis and design decisions and validate fit/gap analysis and design decisions completed by less experienced team members; ensure deviations from “out of the box” functionality have sufficient business justification and positive value proposition
Contribute to the complete set of cutover tasks and dependencies that will enable a successful release of program code and configuration
Ability to convert technical/functional specifications into test scenarios and test scripts
Identifying synergies and optimization areas within the OTC domain and manage the execution.
Keeping up with emerging technologies and changes in business processes.
Maintain strategic relationships with all key stakeholders and provide timely and effective communications, including appropriate status updates.
Customer focused and deep understanding of business needs.
Driving end-user satisfaction by using specific metrics.
Provide leadership and direction to the teams during problem solving and crisis management.
Provide solution leadership, organizing, and overseeing projects.
Solution ownership of new build project and enhancement for OTC.
Influencing internal and external clients to leverage out of the box solutions and reducing customizations.
Help in completing effort estimates, preparing proposals, and collaborating with functional partners to deliver solutions for value-add business functions.
Collaborating with other process tower leaders to ensure a cohesive solution without impacting cross functional and downstream processes or applications.
Ensure all critical OTC processes are properly monitored and alerted; and automate recurrent incidents.
Closely follows the strategic direction set by the segment and executes on priority goals.
Qualifications
10+ years’ experience in related field preferred
Hands-on experience on SAP S/4HANA System Conversion, Fiori apps, Available to Promise (ATP) and/or Advanced Available to Promise (AATP), BRF, ARM, allocation and supply protection.
Working knowledge in ASAPIO.
Implementation experience in full life cycle, large scale SAP project, where solution integrated across SAP modules, and other non-SAP technologies and e-Commerce Platforms preferred
SAP SD Configuration – Defining & assigning Enterprise Structure, Master data, Sales Order types, Item Categories, Billing Document types, Output determination, Copy Control, Schedule line categories preferred
Order Management: Creation of Sales documents - Inquiry, Quotation, Sales order (standard order, rush order, cash sales, service order, returns), Deliveries (outbound & inbound), Billing, Invoicing, Credit memo, Debit memo, Intercompany sales; Configuration and implementation of SAP LE process, covering the complete range of functionalities like master data uploads preferred.
Pricing: Condition table, Condition type, Access sequence, Pricing procedure, Condition record, and VOFM Routine preferred
Experience in SAP/EDI integrations (EDI 850, 855, 810 ,856, 940, 945 etc..).
Interfaces: Should have hands on integration experience with different technologies between SAP to SAP and SAP to Non-SAP systems (BAPI, RFC, Apigee, ODATA is a plus) preferred
Hands on experience in CIF integration, RBA ( Rule Based Availability check),product and location substitution, and Back order processing is preferred.
ABAP debugging Skills preferred.
Hands on experience gathering requirements and creating functional specs.
Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, organizational and planning skills
Strong collaboration and leadership skills.
Proficiency with ASAP (Accelerated SAP) Waterfall and Agile methodologies preferred
Strong experience in completing effort estimates, preparing proposals, and collaborating with our functional partners to deliver quality business solutions.
Ability to develop individuals and teams.
Anticipated salary range: $121,600 - $173,700
