Product Quality Manager

Description

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation

vehicles, snowmobiles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support

equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in

environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting

preserves.

Responsibilities: 7-10 Recommended

  • Develop and execute targeted projects and initiatives to drive quality, improvement, efficiency, and productreliability into the business at an accelerated pace.

  • Influence strategy and lead organizational turnaround projects and campaigns tied to new product development, quality, manufacturing and logistical efficiencies, process and system improvements, and product reliability.

  • Identifying quality requirements to specific customer groups to drive engineering enhancements.

  • Leverage common best-practice processes and establish benchmarking activities to achieve improved quality and reliability across all product lines.

  • Use agreed-upon and defined stage gate process to guide all project activities and milestone signoff and manage project timing, goals, and budget.

  • Lead the Product Safety Review Board with Engineering, Customer Care, Quality and Legal to perform data collection, escalation and communication with Senior Leadership, problem solving, and reporting compliance.

  • Participate and lead field quality initiatives to drive corrective actions back through product strategy and design process.

  • Foster talent development by supporting career path planning, management of performance objectives, engagement, training, and onboarding of new hires.

  • Contribute to a culture of respect, dignity, and inclusion, where everyone feels heard and understood, empowered, and valued.

Qualifications

3-5 Recommended

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field required

Years of Experience: 5 or more years of relevant experience required

Software Knowledge: SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, intermediate to advanced skills in lifecycle management

software preferred
