BAE Systems Operations Program Manager I in Austin, Texas
Job Description
The Austin Business Center within the Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) business area has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Program Manager to join the team. The site is well positioned for growth in the coming years and is looking for a dynamic individual to join us. This Operations Program Manager, (OPM), will oversee the coordinating of Operations activities on several small production and repairs programs, with a focus on material availability. The OPM is the single point of contact for the Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams and is responsible for the execution of the program.
The OPM oversees and manages Operations projects and serves as liaison between the Program Office, Supply Chain, Subcontracts, Planning, Quality, and the factory. The OPM prepares project execution plans and identifies technical and factory resources needed to meet the businesses goals and objectives. The OPM reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules and prepares status reports for the Program Manager and/or directly for the Customer. Finally, the OPM identifies all issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity and quality requirements.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High School Diploma or GED
Cross functional experience within different Operations roles.
Experience with material management
Knowledge of military based quality system.
Excellent team building skills.
Strong communications skills.
Comfortable with one on one as well as large group discussions and ability to lead group discussions.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Supply chain background
Experience managing a Master Demand Schedule (MDS), Sourcing Segmentation, Diminishing Manufacturing Supply (DMS) Management, Second Sourcing
Leadership without direct authority
Experience in manufacturing
Prior experience in a field return/sustainment environment
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
