Charles Schwab Retirement Business Service (RBS) works with Independent Recordkeepers, Third-Party Administrators and Advisors as a trusted partner to provide custody and trust services for retirement plans.
Retirement Business Services (RBS), a division within Advisor Services, provides trust, custody, trading, and technical services through the Business Trust Division of Charles Schwab Bank, Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and Schwab Retirement Technologies. RBS is growing rapidly by providing retirement plan trust and custody services to Independent Recordkeepers, Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) and Third Party Administrators (TPAs), and leads the industry in servicing retirement plans through intermediary relationships.
This position will report to the Salesforce Sr. Product Manager and will be an integral part of the Salesforce team. As the Jr. Admin, under the direction of the Salesforce Sr. Product Manager, you will provide technical expertise, direction and training to Client Service, Sales and Product teams. You will play a key role in developing solutions that transform business and increase user productivity and adoption.
What you’ll do:
The Salesforce Jr. Administrator, based in Austin, TX or Phoenix, AZ, will be responsible for managing changes to the Salesforce platform to meet evolving business requirements.
This position is responsible for:
Developing strong relationships with user groups to support user adoption and ensure proper use of Salesforce.
Diagnosing and proposing resolution for Salesforce.com issues that include configuration and customizations, integrations, data loads, security access, workflows and triggers, reports and dashboards.
Working with the internal salesforce support team and business stakeholders to design and configure salesforce features.
Ongoing data management using Salesforce Data loader.
What you have:
Along with at least 2 years of Salesforce experience, this role requires a highly motivated, organized and business focused individual with a proven record of excellent customer service.
Qualifications & Experience
Some Salesforce.com administrative skills, such as understanding and/or creating users, profiles, roles, custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, workflow rules, validation rule, reports, dashboards, and process builder flows
Ability to perform data cleanup, extraction, and mass changes using data loader
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, in particular with Client Service, Sales and Operations
Experience with end user support for Enterprise Applications
Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables)
Ability to work independently and be results-driven
Working knowledge of Agile / Scrum
Excellent written communication, presentation and facilitation skills
Inquisitive, analytical, proactive and solutions-oriented
Team player who puts customer first (end-users)
Self-starter; takes initiative and can work independently
Well-organized and disciplined with high attention to detail
Flexible and adaptable working with various business domains
2+ year experience with Salesforce preferably within a financial services organization.
Knowledge of how to create and update custom objects, custom fields, formulas, validation rules, workflows, process-builder flows, custom settings, and similar Salesforce platform functionality.
University degree; advanced degrees in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration and/or other professional certifications are a plus (Trailhead counts!)
