The Opportunity
This position will work out of our Austin or Plano, TX site in the Neuromodulation division. Our Neuromodulation business includes implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people who suffer from chronic pain and movement disorders. These non-opioid therapies allow us to provide interventional pain therapy to patients throughout the pain continuum.
As the S r . Product Manager, Global Digital Health you will be responsible for the development, strategic planning and execution of the global digital health strategy. This person plays a key role in driving digital transformation for Abbott’s neuromodulation business through implementation of innovative new digital technologies and programs to support patients and physicians globally. This is a manager position with direct reports.
What You’ll Work On
Conduct market research, oversee product development and design, set prices, launch new products, oversee advertising campaigns, and monitor sales performance to effectively market assigned products/services.
Provide on-going support of new product development including customer requirements definition, product concept
Acts as a technical resource to the team
Validation, financial analysis, and securing Business Unit commitment through market launch.
Monitor, analyze, and evaluate domestic and international market trends, consumer behavior and competitor activity to identify market opportunities for digital health products/services.
Monitor, analyze, and evaluate product performance and customer feedback to generate new product ideas.
Identify product/service changes to meet customer needs.
Liaise with other areas of the organization (e.g., production, R&D) to implement these changes.
Prepare opportunity modeling and forecasts, and manage digital health budget.
Participate in annual departmental budgeting and strategic planning processes by providing relevant data points to assist in overall decision making.
Adapt plans to improve adoption of the product/service.
Leads cross-functional teams/groups with little supervision, to develop new products or enhance existing product(s) or product line(s).
Responsible for field and customer interaction to gain VOC, internal and external feedback on digital health initiatives
Liaise with advertising and promotions specialists to design sales campaigns and sales collateral for the product/service that are effective and appropriate for the target audience.

Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in marketing, business administration or similar, and relevant work experience.
7+ year working experience in marketing, product management or digital health.
Foundational knowledge of AI and vision for its potential role in medicine.
Experience to relate/collaborate with surgeons/physicians and filed team a must.
Comprehensive knowledge of business concepts, procedures and practices. Uses knowledge of in-depth business unit dependencies/ relationships.
Exercises judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Expert knowledge of the impact of various solutions on the business.
Strong analytical skills, written and oral communication skills.
Experience interpreting and understanding technical and scientific information.
Familiar with regulatory compliance requirements and regulations.
Ability to influence and motivate individuals from sales, marketing, and other functional areas to drive product sales.
10% travel

Master’s Degree
Medical Device and healthcare background
Experience managing people and/or leading teams a strong plus

The base pay for this position is $102,700.00 – $205,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
