Job Description

Digital Manufacturing Division delivers value to our Company Manufacturing Division through ownership of digital manufacturing solutions and factory automation excellence combined with deep business process knowledge.

The Technical Analyst is a member of the Digital Manufacturing Division, Process Optimization product team. The role shall engage in IT system implementations and lifecycle management to support the process analytical technology (PAT) capability globally across Our Company facilities. The role shall work as part of the product team, collaborating with the Global Science Engineering and Commercialization (GSEC) business stakeholders and the IT software vendors to perform software installations, configuration, testing, change and release management, system administration, resolve technical issues, and manage the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform IT system installation, configuration and system integrations

  • Create Jira epics, backlog items, System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) deliverables e.g. requirements specification, design specification, installation and operational qualification documents, user acceptance testing, IT system standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials

  • Provide technical support for the system through incident management, problem management, root cause analysis, technical trouble shooting, software patching, partnering with other cybersecurity and IT infrastructure (e.g. windows, database, networking) teams

  • Collaborate with the product team, business stakeholders, and IT vendors to provide critical input to product backlog and influence technology product roadmaps

  • Learn about the business use of the IT systems - the associated manufacturing process analytical processes (e.g. multi-variate data analysis), provide recommendations on next-gen solutions

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum High School Diploma

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT system analysis, application installation, configuration and integrations

  • Technical knowledge of SQL, Windows/Linux Servers, Databases, programming languages, and Cloud Computing (AWS)

  • Understanding of IT System Development Lifecyle (SDLC) and IT service management

  • Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related engineering field

  • Experience in Biopharma Manufacturing and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment

  • Knowledge or Experience with any of the following: analytics, data engineering, data science, statistical, AI/ML, multi-variate data analysis modeling, programming languages (e.g. python), visualization tools (e.g. power BI)

  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence

  • Process Analytical Applications e.g. SIMCA-Online Real-Time Process Monitoring Software

  • AWS and ITIL framework certifications

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. Expected salary range:

$80,320.00 - $126,500.00
