Northrop Grumman iReturn – Configuration Analyst in Baltimore, Maryland

iReturn provides experienced professionals with a 12-week "returnship" to prepare for a full-time career in one of several fields at Northrop Grumman through training, professional development and networking opportunities. Our "returnship" program focuses on giving you a seamless transition back into the workforce and will run from September - November providing candidates with the essential skills and tools for an effective re-entry into the workforce. Upon completion of the program, candidates will be eligible for full-time roles with the company.

The Qualified Applicant Will:

  • Join a cohort of employees re-entering the workforce after a career break of at least two years.

  • Receive special on-boarding designed to provide an effective re-entry into the workforce.

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Configuration Analyst for participation in the iReturn Program

The Configuration Analyst plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met. In addition, this position reviews the contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project. The Configuration Analyst analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system and coordinates modification records for management control. The Configuration Analyst establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor and reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Configuration and/or Data Management or a related discipline.

  • Prior professional work experience in configuration management, data management or within a related area.

  • Prior experience with technical writing, customer liaison or Radar Programs.

  • Prior military experience preferred

  • Career Break of a minimum of 2 years required.

  • Ability to Obtain a D.O.D issued clearance, U.S. Citizenship is required. An Active clearance is not required prior to starting in this role.
