NDE Examiner - BWX Technologies, Inc. - Barberton, OH
Position focuses on Ultrasonic Testing (UT) with technical responsibility
Perform NDE inspections using UT
Plans and develops activities and procedures suitable to accomplish tasks related to area of responsibillity
Provide oversight and surveillance of shop floor personnel for compliance
Communicates regularly with customer technical representatives
Frequent contact with other departments and other sections of the QA Department at all levels of the Company
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in technical field preferred or relevant equivalent work experience of 4+ years.
Prior knowledge of NDE with emphasis on UT and ET
Basic knowledge of other NDE disciplines (RT, MT, PT, ET and/or VT)
NDE level II or III certification is preferred
Candidate must be able to obtain Examiner status in UT within first 18 months of employment
Must be able to obtain and maintain DOE clearance
Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship
