Kellogg Finance Manager in Battle Creek, Michigan

As the Finance Manager in Manufacturing Finance you will be the Finance lead for the Frozen and Veggie plants network. This role directly partnered with manufacturing finance leadership to drive optimization of the manufacturing network, achieve superior plant performance and realize sustainable year-over-year cost savings. Further providing your VP with timely, relevant, and actionable analysis of platform performance, lead monthly and quarterly plant performance analysis and hold the plants accountable for achieving their financial commitments.

  • Financial Strategy – You’ll support the financial planning process, including target setting and plan updates with Senior Executives.

  • P & L Management – We need someone who has been successful on a cross-functional team and has managed a significant P & L. We need you to drive performance while meeting or exceeding business objectives.

  • Communication is key! – Can you talk to non-financial co-workers and explain financial impacts? That will be important as a Finance Manager. We will need someone that can work with a variety of people and influence them appropriately.

  • People Management – Contributing to the overall learning of the Logistics Supply Chain Finance team, you’ll share best work practices and oversee direct reports. Two scoops of leadership and a spoonful of coaching will be key ingredients to your success.


  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Strategic and analytical thinking, problem-solving and decision making will be required in this role

  • Ownership of the financials: P & L, Revenue Management, Overhead, etc.

  • Leadership and strong communication skills

  • Worked in an ERP and/or Planning system? Great, we use SAP and Anaplan and would love someone with prior experience

  • Do you have a winning mindset? We need you to have the ability to drive performance and exceed business objectives

  • Prior people management experience
