Northrop Grumman Software Development Analyst in Battle Creek, Michigan

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Developer Analyst to join our team of professional software developers, system administrators, and database administrators. This position is located inBattle Creek, MI. While on-site work is desired, remote work may be considered.

Our team worksat a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) customer site. We provide sustainment and development support for applications that enable the government to support their customers' Disposition Services functions. The Software Developer Analyst researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software. (S)he is involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. (S)he evaluates theinterface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system, and documents testing and maintenance of system corrections.

Basic Qualifications:

The candidate must possess:

  • a Bachelor's degree with two years of experience

  • an active IT-II (or higher) DOD security clearance,

  • U.S. citizenship,

  • Security+ certification(or enrolled in classes and actively securing certification).

Additionally, thecandidate must have a strong foundation in good coding techniques and experience with the following:

  • Microsoft Visual Studio,

  • ASP.NET,

  • C#.NET,

  • JQuery,

  • CSS,

  • SSRS,

  • Mobile Development (iOS),

  • Relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, MySQL (Oracle is preferred),

  • Team Foundation Server (TFS),

  • Configuration management,

  • Release management.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated leadership attributes are preferred, as well as familiarity with the business of our customers, i.e. DOD vocabulary.
