Project Manager for global complex EPC projects in APAC region.

Accountabilities:

Report to Regional Project Manager (Asia Pacific) Utilize professional project management techniques to ensure gas power projects are completed on time or ahead of schedule while minimizing costs. Develop and manage project timelines with milestones, oversee project budgets, and allocate resources effectively. Establish technical boundaries in collaboration with design institutes, subcontractors, installation companies, EPC contractor, etc. Ensure seamless commissioning to facilitate on-time payments Collaborate with CES factory and dealers to clarify contractual technical and commercial terms. Coordinate cross-functional internal resources within Caterpillar, including sales, commercial, supply chain, production, application engineering, logistics, and finance. Aid in enhancing dealers' technical capabilities through accurate application and installation support. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Background, experience and skills required:

  • A degree from a college, university, or equivalent institution is mandatory, with a preference for electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or combustion engine.

  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience as a project manager in power plants is highly desirable. Possession of PMP or an MBA is advantageous.

  • At least 5 years of experience working with large power plants exceeding 30 MW.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a multinational company.

  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

  • Proficient in written and spoken English, familiar with technical terminology, possessing a CET-6 score above or an IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a team-player mentality, mature demeanor, and self-motivated nature.

  • Willingness to engage in business travel.
