Vendor Management Advisor

What does a successful Global Strategic Sourcing Vendor Management Advisor do?

As a successful Global Strategic Sourcing Vendor Management Advisor, you will work with the Technology Operations team in regard to infrastructure and network vendor management. You will structure engagement with Technology vendors and lead master agreements covering professional services.

What you will do:

  • Support Technology Infrastructure related strategic sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations for Professional Services, Managed Services, and Deliverables.

  • Lead/support teams of key cross-functional stakeholders through structured strategic sourcing processes to develop superior commercial relationships with a wide range of Technology and Services suppliers.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across the enterprise on business, legal, financial, technical, performance and security requirements. Accountable for up to $100M in annual spend.

  • Work with Technology Services to leverage professional services vendors and to implement workforce strategy.

  • Communicate regularly with senior leadership, managers and vendors.

  • Leverage the purchasing power of the enterprise to drive measurable improvements and increase Fiserv’s competitive advantage.

  • Other responsibilities as required contingent on the needs of the business.

What you will need to have:

  • 6-10 years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience and/or military experience, or 4-year college degree + 7 years of experience in applicable field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in account management, vendor management and/or client relationship management.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience collaborating with Technology Infrastructure Leadership, Legal, Finance, and/or Risk.

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams)

  • Ability to operate independently with minimal guidance.

What would be great to have:

  • MBA and/or MS in Technology/Engineering

  • Legal/Paralegal expertise

  • CPM or CPSM Certifications

This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island or Washington.
