Fiserv VP, PMO & Alliance Management, Fintech in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey
Fiserv is looking for an experienced Vice President of the PMO & Alliance Management for the newly created Fintech segment. The emergence of fintechs, universal banking, digital currencies and mobile-first attitudes requires us to build bridges to modern finance and DeFI across all customer segments. We are seeking a VP to lead a team of Project Managers, Business Process Managers, and Alliance Managers for the Fintech segment. The leader will drive transformation with a focus on extending our core banking, payments and merchant processing capabilities to an emerging set of fintechs and financial service ecosystem participants. Success will be achieved by developing close partnerships and collaboration with internal segment and function leaders in the areas of product, technology, strategy, and business development to position Fiserv as leader in banking as a service, payments as a service and cyrpto space.
As a VP, PMO & Alliance Management for Fintech, you will:
Lead a team of Project Managers, Business Process Managers, and Alliance Managers for the newly created Fintech segment
Engage with business development, product, technology, delivery, legal, risk, finance and compliance teams to manage end to end enablement of BaaS, PaaS and crypto services for financial institution and fintech clients
Shepard fintech partnerships through the various NBIA and risk reviews to ensure all partners meet all facets of the Fiserv vendor and risk evaluation criteria
Manage and monitor the execution of bank sponsor and referral partner agreements to ensure compliance
Lead workshops with cross functional teams for financial institutions and fintechs to document system, data and money movement flows that will underpin the value propositions and provide insight to commercial models
Build play books for project and alliance managers that will enable scaling and speed to market for fintech partnerships
Establish key success metrics and standard operating rhythms with strategic partners, encompassing go-to-market efforts, sales activity, and executive-level business reviews
Develop a solid understanding of Fiserv solution value proposition, capabilities, and competitive differentiators to evangelize Fintech solutions and integration with pan-Fiserv products
Help Fiserv product development and professional services teams fully leverage Fintech solutions
Collaborate with internal partners in Sourcing, Marketing, Finance and Legal as needed to ensure smooth, effective operations of partnerships
Own all aspects of the technology alliance program from, but not limited to program design, drive the comprehensive program, expand the business towards the three-year vision, hiring, creating selection process and criteria, partners selection, optimizing the management of our technology partner ecosystem, and tiering partners
Engage with product management, development, customer service and relationship management as well as build valued and trusted relationships with the leadership of our Fintech customers
Engage at the client level with strong communication and presentation skills to interact at all levels of the clients from C-level to technical and operation levels
Basic qualifications for consideration:
Bachelor's degree is required
10+ years combined experience in one or all of the following: developing strategic alliances, leading a PMO and/or driving operational excellence for a business segment
Ability to travel up to 40%
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
Management consulting is a plus
5+ years of experience leading and development high performing teams
Demonstrated expertise in the BaaS, PaaS or Crypto areas either at a payment processor, fintech or bank
Familiarity with BaaS competitive landscape and sponsor bank model
Proven success running a strategic technology alliance program with well-established relationships with partner executives
Prior experience in business operations, project management, product analytics, or product design
