We're seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Assistant to serve as the backbone of our Corporate Tax Department, providing exceptional support to our leadership team, including the Director of Tax Administration and two Directors of Tax Planning. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the Director of Tax Administration’s Outlook Calendar to ensure efficient use of their time, including scheduling, de-conflicting and helping to prioritize meetings based on program and business needs.
• Arranging travel arrangements.
• Provide exceptional customer service, screening visitors, and handling phone calls and emails with discretion and tact.
• Arrange meetings, including coordinating amenities, equipment, and logistics.
• Develop and maintain accurate and complete correspondence, memos, reports, and other documents using various software applications.
• Create spreadsheets and presentations charts, and ensure finished documents are proofread.
• Answer questions related to office operations and established policies and procedures.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks, including tracking deadlines, updating project status, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
• Provide support for special projects and assignments as required, including low-level federal and state income tax compliance tasks.
• Support all aspects of Tax Planning administrative needs, including providing general administrative support and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
• Ability to provide occasional support to VP of Tax.
This role will be an integral part of the Corporate Tax Department team, providing administrative support to help drive the success of the organization. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is proactive, flexible, and able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Basic Qualifications:
• Effective interpersonal and communications skills, both oral and written.
• Creates a collaborative environment with leadership, staff, internal/external customers and vendors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
• Self-starter who can independently accomplish tasks; is proactive, flexible and takes initiative.
• Notary Commission (active) or willingness to obtain
Desired Skills:
• Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin (LM) policies and procedures.
• Internet research skills at an advanced level of administrative competency.
• Working knowledge and use of SharePoint and Teams.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $51,100 - $90,045. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
