This is a temporary position.

As a member of the Service Delivery Data and Analytics team, the Analyst will partner with Product, Infrastructure, Engineering, Vendors, and Support teams to produce and provide visibility and insights through data and reporting. They will also work with other other members of the Service Delivery team to produce reporting and analysis on the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and the OKRs of the organization. This is a technical analyst role that requires collaboration with multiple Global Technology teams.

Candidate Profile:

Education and Experience

Required:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certifications

• 5+ years of experience in Information Technology (IT) and/or analytics roles, including:

• 3+ years of experience scoping, developing, and implementing complex data schemas and reports using modern BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau)

• 2+ years of experience in technical consulting, requirements gathering, and development of scoped products with presentation of success

Preferred Skills and Expertise

Technical:

• Proficiency in data modeling and relational model development

• Proficiency in designing and implementing KPI and metric strategies, with the ability to communicate these strategies to stakeholders

• Experience leading complex data initiatives with multiple stakeholders and end users

• Experience implementing and managing ETL pipelines and developing medallion data models

• Experience with core Microsoft Azure data tools like Azure Data Factory and PowerBI report development

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and writing T-SQL

• Experience with Python, PySpark, or R

• Experience writing technical documentation

• Experience presenting data findings and insights to business partners/leadership

General:

• Ability to independently manage technical or process issues, providing executive reporting on issue status

• Experience communicating technical material to non-technical business partners to help them interpret data and uncover actionable information

• Experience developing KPIs, SLAs, and service metrics

• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills to interact at all levels

• Experience interfacing with and influencing business partners

Core Work Activities:

• Identify key performance indicators and service metrics. Drive the instrumentation of consistent data collection and the operating review rhythms to ensure compliance

• Support Business Application and IT Support Desk activities through data and reporting initiatives

• Work with peers and leadership to propose new opportunities for data strategy and insight

• Troubleshoot and identify data quality issues and inconsistencies

• Work cross-departmentally to align on data platform needs

• Lead the development of data strategy for service groups

• Define metrics required to deliver sustainment activities with high quality

• Explore new tools and methods to continuously improve the data platform and reporting capabilities of the team

• Complete special projects and activities, as assigned

• Function as a strategic data expert within the department

• Develop specific short-term goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and complete work

• Institute and teach data management and reporting best practices across the team and organization

• Provide direction, influence, and assistance to other teams and individuals as needed

• Think creatively, systemically, holistically, and practically to develop, execute, and iterate to move the team forward strategically

• Generate and provide accurate and timely results in the form of program reports, executive presentations, etc.

• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate the quality of operations, property support, and technology investments

Delivering on the Needs of Key Stakeholders:

• Understand and meet the needs of key stakeholders

• Communicate concepts in a clear and persuasive manner that is easy to understand

• Demonstrate an understanding of business priorities

• Support achievement of performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc.

• Provide technical expertise and leadership within own and other teams

• Provide recommendations to improve the effectiveness of processes and programs

• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, technology, and processes

• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of function-specific concepts

• Apply knowledge, judgment, and actions to achieve business goals

• Foresee, identify, and resolve problems

• Keep up-to-date technically and apply new knowledge to the job

• Perform other reasonable duties as required for this position

The pay range for this position is $30.86 to $48.08 per hour.

Washington Applicants Only : Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
