This is a temporary position.

Marriott’s Digital Asset Operations team is tasked with supporting all required assets to keep our online Digital channels including international sites accurate and up to date on behalf of the hotels and Digital stakeholders. This extends to all image placements across all Marriott's global digital portfolio. This role liaises with, and takes direction from, the Digital Content Operations team at Corporate, responding to all asset inquiries from content stakeholders for all digital products.

Supports Digitals asset strategy by adhering to brand, legal, and technical standards for asset management within content management and digital asset management systems. Creative assets include images, video/multimedia, and other interactive files.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

Required

  • 1+ yrs experience working in a customer service environment or online field (preferably eCommerce)

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Good understanding of Web communications and business strategies

  • Excellent written, visual, and oral communication skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills: ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly

  • Ability to multi-task; able to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines, and changing priorities

  • Excellent team player; flexible and accommodating to the needs of the team

Preferred

  • Experience working with content and digital assets management systems (CMS and DAM) including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

  • Understanding of general photography and graphic design principles and technologies

  • 1+ years’ experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

  • Salesforce

  • Snow ticketing software

  • Confluence

  • Agile development

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Managing Work, Projects, and Policies

  • Maintains and updates existing assets using the Adobe Experience Manager Digital Asset Center System (DAC) and other platforms such as Salesforce, etc.

  • Manages the assets taxonomy structure of Marriott.com to create appropriate metadata entries for each new or updated image.

  • Works tickets based on the established priority and follows the protocol for updating the tickets to the proper state when the work is performed.

  • Follows corporate copyright policy to prevent licensing claims.

Supporting Asset Operations

  • Responds to asset inquiries from content stakeholders regarding image usage and placement.

  • Conducts quality assurance on personal and others’ work to ensure the assets meet quality standards, including visual and functional QA and proofreading.

  • Ensures adherence to asset brand guidelines and marketing objectives.

  • Maintains Marriott’s highest standards for quality assets and the visual presentation.

  • Exercises independent discretion and judgement when modifying image instances or rejecting images that are sub-par before they reach Marriott.com channels.

  • Follows established escalation procedures when unable to resolve or implement the requested asset updates.

  • Share insight on image trends to improve established processes.

  • Ability to write documentation to support asset operations.

The pay range for this position is $18.17 to $29.81 per hour.

Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
