The Senior Manager, Commercial Performance – Global Goal Setting is responsible for the goal setting process and development of the goal setting tools for sales channels globally. This includes identifying, developing and sustaining solutions identified by Sr. Leadership, strategy and work efforts, and providing centralized support, services and tools to continent leads as well as sales teams. This position requires the ability to lead cross functional teams to develop, implement, and sustain high value tools and solutions. This position will proactively consult with and ensure stakeholders current needs are met while supporting initiatives as identified by the Sales Organization.

Scope/Business Context

Activities associated with this position require the ability to work in conjunction with Global Technology teams and external vendors across sales and revenue systems to develop automated sustainable tools to set and measure goals in support of the Sales Organization deployment strategy as well as sustainable tools to set and measure goals in non-deployed markets. This position requires an understanding of direct sales strategies, deployment, sales and revenue systems, goal setting and measurement to effectively contribute to shaping the long-term strategic direction of Sales Goal Setting and Performance Management.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education & Experience Required

  • 4-year degree from and accredited university and 4+ years of relevant professional experience, OR

  • 6+ years for relevant professional experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry with hospitality sales experience

Skills & Experience Preferred

  • Experience evaluating business trends and successfully implementing new business programs and strategies to enhance business performance

  • Strong track record of leadership skills

  • Experience managing initiatives and change

  • Strong understanding of setting Sales strategies

  • Ability to influence other within all levels of Sales Organizations

  • Experience managing and manipulating large data sets

  • Excellent ability to assist in setting strategies and executing against the strategy

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, particularly public presentations

  • Strong technical acumen including knowledge of data management and Excel, Access, SQL, etc.

  • Ability to work independently and systematically prioritize tasks and projects

  • Ability to guide and direct efforts of associates who are not direct reports

  • Strong analytical acumen and problem-solving skills, adept at utilizing data to make decisions and justify priorities

  • Champion for change and continuous improvement

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Leads team in developing strategies, operating plans and workable business processes for department in alignment with function strategies related to the Sales Discipline.

Specific Expected Contributions

In the areas of Goal Setting and Production tracking, provide the following:

  • Lead Sales Goal Setting Process, production tracking and timeline across all Sales Channels.

  • Own and manage vendor relationships with external vendors supporting tools.

  • Create and execute productivity reporting to support production tracking.

  • Create and execute dashboards to support the needs of the continent sales teams.

  • Develop training and communication to support annual goal setting process for all channels, accommodating goal changes throughout the year.

  • Lead the effort with cross functional Global Technology teams to develop, test and sustain tools and reporting to support goal setting and productivity measurement for bonus compensation and Golden Circle/Top Performer programs.

  • Proactively ensure field stakeholders can navigate and maximize the available reports and systems.

  • Partner with other departments, as needed, to develop/pull through analytical solutions.

  • Acknowledge, research and respond to field inquiries as requested.

  • Provide logistical support as directed to support training (e.g., organize and coordinate webinars, conference calls).

  • Partner with training as needed to document and proof training documents, timelines and processes.

  • Participate and/or facilitate training and conference calls and webinars.

  • Organize and lead cross functional work efforts (e.g., resulting from continuous tool/resource improvement, strategy changes, sub work group to major initiative).

  • Develop strategies and tools to support initiatives/outcomes of major cross-functional initiatives as appropriate.

  • Proactively identify, scope and implement enhancements as needed to support strategic continent directions.

Delivering on the Needs of Key Stakeholders

  • Determines priorities, schedules, plans and necessary resources to ensure completion of any projects on schedule.

Technical Acumen - Understands and utilizes professional skills and knowledge in a specific functional area to conduct and manage everyday business operations and generate innovative solutions to approach function-specific work challenges.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

  • Knowledge of Caspio, Snowflake and SQL a plus.

  • Experience in leading multiple projects with diverse audiences.

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in direct sales environment.

  • Solid knowledge/experience in sales & revenue management systems and processes.

The pay range for this position is $47.35 to $70.24 per hour.

Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
