Description: Global IDCT Lead - Director

The Industrial Development Global IDCT Lead Director is the leader of the Global Industrial Development organization supporting all Lockheed Martin business areas. This person is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and realization of the global industrial strategy for all countries of interest to Lockheed Martin. This person is the senior leader of the Industrial Development Country Team Leads and the Industrial Development Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads (these two roles described in this sentence may or may not be the same individual per country). As the IDCT and ID-IPT senior leader, this person ensures the timely creation and/or identification and vetting of international industrial opportunities for decision (up to and including the Enterprise Industrial Board as needed). Additionally, this person is involved with shaping, drafting, proposing, negotiating, and finalizing Industrial Development commitments during the capture of new business as well as serving as the initial Lockheed Martin executive face to the international industrial customer.

In addition, this person is responsible for leading the successful execution of all regional Industrial Development commitments across the enterprise. Effectively work within a large business capture team which depends upon the industrial solutions, among others, to successfully capture new business opportunities.

These responsibilities include:

• Develop, implement, and align industrial strategy for the region to help countries realize their industrial vision, sovereign capability, and further OneLM.

o Establish and maintain effective professional relationships with various Industrial (offset) authorities in the region where Lockheed Martin is conducting business or pursuing business opportunities.

o Establish industrial/participation/offset business strategies for capturing new business and executing commitments. Throughout the pursuit, identify risks & opportunities to pursuit teams. Reconcile estimate and support all levels of EPP reviews.

o Ensure successful fulfillment of industrial/offset obligations and industrial/offset contract commitments.

• Actively own internal financial metrics, management, and reporting (CSR, CAM, EVMS, etc.) for entire region across all BAs and enterprise

o Meet with program and/or Line of Business (LOB) management on a quarterly basis to reconcile estimates and coordinate positions with Line of Business (LOB) Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). Identify business opportunities that reduce performance risk while also meeting internal budget requirements.

• Ensure the drafting, negotiation, and establishment of industrial development obligations, including the identification of risks, analysis of mitigations, to include unusual terms and conditions. Includes responsibility for fulfilling all requirements of CRX-454.

• Drive integration across key stakeholders from business areas and functions, such as Program Management (PM), Business Development (BD), Finance and Business Operations (F&BO), Global and Business Development and Strategy (GBD&S), and Supply Chain teams.

• Ensure compliance with relevant Lockheed Martin policies and international regulations governing international business operations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to lead global virtual team to successfully drive mission commitments and deliver on enterprise goals.

• Demonstrated inclusive leadership, championing of talent and growth opportunities, and supporting all employees to be ahead of ready.

• Demonstrated ability to influence colleagues across the organization and enterprise, serving as a change agent to create new ways of thinking.

• Bachelor’s degree.

• 10+ years experience in international program capture and/or execution and/or offsets experience or commensurate experience in a related field.

• Strong oral and written presentation skills at a Senior Executive Level.

• Position may require significant international travel.

Desired Skills:

• Experience working in one or more Lockheed Martin LOB.

• Experience partnering with international customers.

• Experience supporting international offsets, and/or industrial requirements from proposal to execution for a business area program.

• Knowledge of offsets, industrial requirements, and regulations in multiple countries.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $180,000 - $300,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
