Lockheed Martin Protective Services Intelligence Analyst in Bethesda, Maryland

Description: We're seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Executive Protection Risk Analyst. As a key member of our risk management team, you will play a critical role in detecting and evaluating risks directed towards our executive staff. Your expertise in analyzing complex data sets and identifying threat actors will inform our leadership's decisions and help mitigate potential risks.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Analyze various data sets to identify potential threats and risks to our executive staff

• Utilize behavioral analytical tools to detect anomalies and patterns in data

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and share insights

• Develop effective detection methods to identify and mitigate risks

• Enhance existing processes and procedures to improve risk management capabilities

• Write clear, concise, and fact-driven summaries of findings to present to senior leadership

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources, including:

• Publicly available information

• Intelligence reports

• Social media

• Other relevant data sources

• Identify information gaps, discrepancies, trends, and patterns in data

• Utilize various behavioral analytical tools, including:

• Predictive analytics

• Machine learning algorithms

• Data visualization tools

• Create effective detections that identify and mitigate risks, including:

• Developing threat assessments

• Identifying potential threat actors

• Analyzing risk likelihood and impact

• Enhance existing processes and procedures to improve risk management capabilities, including:

• Developing new risk assessment methodologies

• Improving data collection and analysis techniques

• Enhancing collaboration with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as:

• Intelligence analysis

• Data science

• Computer science

• Behavioral psychology

• 3+ years of experience in risk analysis, intelligence analysis, or a related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to present complex data insights to senior leadership

Basic Qualifications:

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $78,500 - $150,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
