Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Multimedia Designer will deliver highly creative, engaging, and elevated visual design as well as videography, photography and editing for key projects within Internal Communications. This position will be responsible for ideating, developing, and executing creative concepts from start to finish, in partnership with other Internal Communications team members, to deliver for key stakeholders and high profile/impact projects. The position will plan, estimate, and execute content strategy, distribution, and analysis to develop innovative ideas creating compelling designs, presentations, infographics and other visual assets, ensuring all products are on-brand and consistent across channels. This position will consult on strategic projects, monitor project timelines, ensure alignment with brand trends and leverage technology to enhance creative outputs.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's degree with minimum of 5+ years’ experience or Associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience or 10+ years of experience producing, directing, filming and editing high quality corporate video, with multiple examples in a variety of shooting situation

  • Highly proficient in and knowledgeable of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and Microsoft Office.

  • Skilled and knowledgeable in video, audio, and photographic editing and in filmmaking technology and techniques.

  • Ability to routinely work from the HQ office in Bethesda.

Preferred

  • Stays abreast of technological advances that improve production processes and product.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Deliver highly creative, engaging, and elevated visual design for key projects within Internal Communications.

  • Plan, estimate, scope content strategy work, determine and execute content distribution and analysis.

  • Partner in the development of creative strategy including brainstorms, concept, and present innovative ideas that garner buy-in from peers and clients while netting measurable results.

  • Combine art and technology to communicate ideas through images.

  • Develop creative design, presentations, production layouts, infographics, and provides support for assigned projects.

  • Design collateral and logos with close attention to typography. Adjusts and uses photography and illustrations effectively.

  • Support the Creative and Content team with videography, photography and editing duties for corporate messaging, company initiatives, corporate events, social media and more as needed.

  • Work with all levels of corporate management with efficiency to produce quality deliverables and contribute to the success of various projects and events.

  • Creative evolution – stay up to date with branding and trends in all mediums.

  • Ensure products leverage best practices, are on-brand, and are consistent in terms of style, quality, tone and user experience across all channels.

  • Responsible for strategic project consultation and creating integrated project plan, based on current scope, ensuring that clients’ overall needs are met.

  • Help in monitoring and tracking the delivery for active projects and specific project deliverables and keep abreast of priorities, needs, challenges and opportunities communicated by internal cross-functional team members.

  • Communicate regularly with client, including project status reports and meeting summaries.

  • Partner with creative team to present creative assets and other project deliverables, such as creative concepts and copy.

The salary range for this position is $108,300 to $142,300 annually.
