JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Digital Analyst, Product Enhancement is responsible for supporting the project management for the enhancement of MDS Products (both digital web product and service programs) to deliver exceptional products to our hotels and key stakeholders (the client). This includes the accountability and responsibility for managing timelines and accountability across multiple contributors across multiple projects through agile principles.

This role will assist in the facilitation of the product enhancement processes across multiple collaborators to ensure delivery is on time and on-budget and with exceptional quality. This individual must be able to work seamlessly across multiple projects, simultaneously, maintaining organization and clear communications within the product enhancement team and supporting partners.

MDS operates in an agency-like model within the Digital/Consumer Operations organization. This centralized model provides individual hotels with comprehensive digital activation services across disciplines such as Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Content Management, Merchandising, Reporting and Paid Media as well as digital product sets such as HWS Narrative, HWS Discovery Pages, independent Outlet Sites, custom Collection hotel sites and more. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Product Enhancement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing Projects and Processes

  • Supports the product enhancement process of MDS Products through agile principles.

  • Communicates business needs and product requirements to resourced teams and vendors.

  • Maintains developed processes to hold internal teams and vendors accountable to project deadlines.

  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of enhancement sprints and roadmaps.

  • Manages logistics for enhancement sprint demos which launch product completion.

  • Engages and supports agile process in partnership with and Product Development and Business Support teams.

  • Champions change and improvement across the full suite of MDS services.

Vendor Management

  • Frequent communication and meetings/standups with vendors to ensure project pacing.

  • Understands vendor resourcing across Traffic & Workflows.

  • Engages with vendors to ensure projects meet standards and sprint deadlines.

Communications and Engagement

  • Regularly communicates with internal key stakeholders and vendors.

  • Supports in communications around product enhancement launches, demonstrations and retrospectives.

  • Regularly interfaces with the teams responsible for the execution and completion of MDS Products.

  • Actively participates and engages in internal and external special projects to broaden skill set.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • BS/BA degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or related field

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience in digital marketing and/or project management

  • Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office are a plus
