This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business. We sit at the heart of the supply chain, partnering with farmers and customers to source, make and deliver essential products.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Elevator Supervisor will provide strategic operational oversight for all grain handling, grain receiving, and loadouts at the Bloomington, IL Specialty Soy Crush Facility. In this role, you will oversee safety, quality, and operational effectiveness of several site departments.
Key Accountabilities
Execute routine operations of assigned area, ensuring direct reports are following policies and procedures related to employee, food and feed safety and environmental compliance.
Monitor production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are within specifications.
Partner with commercial and supply chain groups to meet customer specifications and timeline.
Accountable for coordinating with logistics and supply chain for inventory management and segregation of specialty soy products.
Develop operational plans and monitors routine operations for all production processes for multiple plant departments, processes and shifts.
Develop, supervise and provide coaching to direct reports including coaching company core values and guiding principles for assigned facilities or region.
Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 1 year directly related work experience
Proven leadership and ability to communicate with all levels in the plant
Preferred Qualifications
One year of supervisory experience
Minimum of two years of experience in production and warehouse management

Location: Bloomington, IL
The expected salary for this position is $75,000 – 95,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
