Caterpillar is looking to add a Nursing Manager to our Earthmoving Division team. As the Nursing Manager, you will support facilities in IL, AR, and MN. In this role you will have the opportunity to manage nursing service activities for occupational health services, including promoting employee safety, and ensures compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
What you will do:
• Directs nursing staff in occupational health services.
• Supervises the implementation of occupational health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations.
• Develops and conducts training programs to promote employee safety in the workplace.
• Measures employee performance and trains new staff members. Promotes the development of existing staff members.
•Partner with EH&S and HR to generate and implement ongoing improvements that support a proactive health and safety culture to improve the health and wellbeing of our team members.
•Acts as the local liaison with contracted health providers, including occupational health providers and providers for the health promotion examination. Represent the Corporate Medical Department, its policies and strategy.
What you will have:
Experience: Accredited Registered Nurse (RN) degree, current state Registered Nurse (RN) license, and current CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)/First Aid certification. Previous leadership experience.
Clinical Policies and Standards: Knowledge of all clinical standards and policies set for a healthcare environment; ability to apply and adhere to industry standards, policies and procedures in the processes of a clinical practice.
Clinical Leadership: Knowledge of key business and clinical leadership concepts relevant to the healthcare function; ability to balance business needs with the needs of patients' and patient care priorities.
Nursing Assessment and Care - HNU: Knowledge of the policies and activities regarding nursing assessment and care; ability to assess patients' nursing care needs, develop and implement a nursing care plan, monitor progress and adjust as necessary.
Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) Compliance: Knowledge of regulations and standards regarding the occupational safety and health of personnel working within an organization; ability to apply relevant regulations and standards to daily work activities
Office Support Tools: Knowledge of commonly used office hardware, software and equipment; ability to use the tools available at the desktop (for example: word processing, email, presentation software, and spreadsheets.)
Safety, Injury Prevention and Emergency Procedures: Knowledge of the prevention and treatment of intentional or unintentional injuries; ability to implement emergency procedures in accordance with appropriate safety plans.
Interpersonal Relationships: Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.

Summary Pay Range:
$95,640.00 - $143,520.00
