Are you interested in driving large-scale transformation? Do you have the knack for diving deep to understand how the business ticks? P&G is looking to add a Business Enterprise Architect that will serve as a key member of the Enterprise Architecture and Integration organization. In this role, you will be accountable for the definition and execution of business architecture strategies and frameworks globally, as well as drive enterprise-level transformation initiatives across people, processes, and tools for ongoing business strategies. This role will be based in Boston, MA. or Cincinnati, OH.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain the enterprise business architecture across the business domains.

  • Work with enterprise architects and key organizational stakeholders to define a strategic plan for leveraging integrated Enterprise Business Architecture as part of the enterprise architecture.

  • Review the digital strategy and engages key business stakeholders and product managers to facilitate business architecture and related business process mapping.

  • Define a clear plan and governance for ensuring the Enterprise Business Architecture work is in lock step with the other EA viewpoints.

  • Provide strategic consultation to product managers in defining or designing business capabilities, processes, functions, and organizational structures, as well as in researching, identifying and internally marketing, selling, and enabling technologies based on business and end-user requirements.

  • Participate in enterprise architecture development, including business & information architecture, application portfolio and technical architecture, and champions the balance of flexibility and risk.

  • Collaborate and lead the business architects’ network across the business domains.

  • Seek ways to apply new technology to, and reuse existing technology for, business processes.

  • Facilitate development of cross-product/value stream (enterprise) solutions that combine knowledge of business processes and issues, general technological options, and process facilitation techniques.

  • Collaborate with centrally located IT teams and globally dispersed market teams to leverage the benefits of globally scaled solutions and enterprise platforms and apply them across P&G.

  • Provide Training: Architecture IT talent development through ongoing training programs and internal certifications.

Job Qualifications

Skills

  • Ability to assess the value and risk of existing, new and emerging technologies against new business designs and business models to achieve targeted business outcomes.

  • Knowledge in all aspects of designing and constructing business capabilities, value streams, business processes, and organizational structures.

  • Knowledge of business process management, workflow and integration methods and tools.

  • Knowledge of EA tools to develop business architecture deliverables.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of facilitation of projects and products, and organization change management.

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts and theories for a variety of projects.

Experience Requirements:

  • 10+ years of proven experience within IT, with at least 5+ years at a senior level leading enterprise architecture / business architecture.

  • Experience in defining, aligning, and driving the business architecture for key capabilities and the related business processes as part of key strategic initiatives.

  • Experience working in at least two of the following domains and related architecture - Consumer, Customer, Data and Analytics, Manufacturing, Supply chain and Innovation.

  • Experience in key architecture domains - business process, application architecture, technical infrastructure, security, and integration.

  • Experience working across functions and driving solutions that spans across multiple central platforms and business units.

  • Focused on the business outcomes and customer first approach to drive the architecture.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities – demonstrated ability to interact and lead in a multi-functional context; able to engage with broad leadership.

  • Ability to lead by influence and strong collaboration, across a matrixed and dispersed organization and organizational leadership for all IT / digital resources.

  • A team player, who can interrelate and operate effectively with peer and other associates within a collegial, yet results-oriented, management environment.

Starting Salary: $150k-$207k/year

Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
