This position is responsible for leading product marketing in support of our Advisory Services business focused on the Payer market. The marketing director will develop and execute strategies to capture market share and exceed business unit goals. Direct accountabilities include assessing the market, defining and articulating compelling product value propositions, creating thought leadership and other campaign content, and establishing the marketing strategy for new and legacy consulting offerings and executing together with the integrated marketing team.

Product positioning and messaging: Build a deep understanding of buyers and influencers, the problems they face, their specific needs and requirements and the competing solutions available to them. Develop and clearly articulate differentiated and compelling value propositions that drive sales and marketing efforts. Guide future offerings to further strengthen our value proposition and expand our market
Product go-to-market strategy and launch: Lead the development of winning go-to-market strategies, create campaign content and sales enablement tools for an impactful launch including sales decks, collateral, web content, use cases, case studies, etc. Collaborate with business and growth leaders to align marketing strategies and plans to help achieve goals
Sales enablement: Support selling efforts through ongoing and timely communications and delivery of evolving product positioning, updated sales tools, competitive analyses and new or developing market dynamics. Provide sales enablement training and support specific selling opportunities
Thought leadership: Establish and/or support already developed thought leadership positions that differentiates Optum offerings and reaches the audiences through marketing programs, events, industry presentations and public relations

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in product marketing
Experience in B2B Marketing
Experience influencing and collaborating with others
Experience managing and prioritizing several deliverables
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Experience in solid project management and attention to detail
Ability to travel 5-10% nationally, on occasion as needed

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $94,500 to $171,700. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $94,500 to $171,700.
