Manufacturing & Supply Chain
Responsible for putting safety first with a goal to prevent all injuries, occupational illnesses and safety incidents.
Perform breakdown maintenance on all CNC equipment including diagnosing and repair/replacement of defective parts.
Perform simple and complex preventative maintenance on CNC, production and building equipment at multiple facilities
Interpret hydraulic and electrical drawings for breakdown diagnostics using various tools
Coordinate and prioritize work to meet production schedules.
Support and execute rebuild, reconditioning CNC machine projects and provide project leadership as needed.
Daily prioritize and confirm work orders using electronic maintenance system.
Operation of CNC and robots to perform maintenance activities.
Take initiative to document, communicate and correct maintenance issues identified during breakdowns and PM activities.
Operate equipment including forklift, man lift, maintenance truck, snowplow truck, etc.
Perform other maintenance including snowplow removal.
Work and interact effectively in a team environment in alignment with our code of conduct and values in action.
May work various shift and workday schedules to meet customer and team needs.
Electronically and manually maintain documentation for production.
Take initiative to identify, document, communicate and correct problems, report discrepancies and recommend solutions
Support team People, Quality, Velocity and Cost (PQVC) initiatives and daily activities.
Complete projects as needed
Work with limited supervision
Technical degree in electronics or CNC maintenance and 3 years CNC electrical, hydraulic and mechanical maintenance experience including troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair and preventative maintenance. OR 10 years CNC maintenance experience including troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair and preventative maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret machine blueprint and drawings.

Ability to diagnose complex CNC problems
Ability to utilize computers for maintenance transactions
Experience with production and building equipment maintenance
Heavy crane equipment experience
Ability to read electrical and hydraulic prints and write continuous improvement cards
Previous experience operating equipment including forklift, man lift, snow plow truck
Ability to utilize computers for production transactions
Operate equipment including forklift, man lift, maintenance truck, snow plow truck
Noise levels of 85db or greater
Operate overhead cranes, jib cranes and hoists
Lift up to 35lbs frequently
Work at multiple heights
Climb on equipment, machines, ladders, man lifts and various step stools
Stand for a minimum of 8 hour shifts with minimal breaks
Work various shifts and workday schedules including nights and weekends
Work in environment with frequently changing temperatures and all weather conditions
Exposure to magnets that may impact medical devices
Kneel, squat, and crawl on knees
Work in awkward positions, including forward reach, lateral reach, squat, overhead reaching, twisting and forward head and rotation of neck.
Work in tight spaces
Repetitive grasping, pushing, pulling rotating
Use of fine motor skills
Use of maintenance hand tools
Required Personal Protective Equipment: hearing protection, safety glasses, steel toed/metatarsal foot gear, and protective clothing and equipment including shock resistant gloves, fall restraint harnesses, jackets, chaps, helmet, grinding shield, etc.
