The Opportunity

Specialist professional individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in the area of Pharmaceutical/Biological Process. Ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects. Adapts precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions

What You'll Work On

•As the Specialist in the Pharmaceutical/Biological Process Sub-Function, considered as highly experienced and knowledgeable resource within the organization in implementing and maintaining pharmaceutical/biological processes

.•Calculates and organizes all data for complex process flow sheets including instrumentation and control considerations

.•Models processes and units operations.

•Ensures proper sequence of operation and prepares specifications and operating instructions for processing equipment.

•Conducts tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over such variables as temperature, density, pressure and viscosity.

•Services, troubleshoots, and solves engineering problems with processes or equipment already in operation.

•Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

•May be responsible for corrective and preventive actions and investigation management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Scientific field

  • Candidates must have minimum 5 years machine vision engineering work experience, preferably in a regulated high volume automated manufacturing environment.

  • Candidates must have minimum 5 years demonstrated expertise with Cognex Insight hardware/software platform (spreadsheet environment)

  • Candidates must have a minimum 5 years’ experience with Optics, Lighting Techniques, Troubleshooting/Diagnostics, with demonstrable competency in vision algorithm development and interfaces with PLC/HMI systems.

  • Candidates must have extensive knowledge of vision tools such as histograms, edge tools, blob tools, OCR, logic, image processing techniques, job profiling etc

  • Candidates must have completed Cognex advanced spreadsheet training.

  • Experience with Cognex Vision Pro, Designer and Keyence vision systems

  • Candidates should have a good knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods.

  • Candidates should have experience of GDP/GMP/GAMP. Preferred Qualifications

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent desirable.

  • Excellent communication / interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Flexible and innovative approach to work.

  • Occasional travel for training and project implementation.

The base pay for this position is $83,000.00 – $166,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
