We are growing both our focus and device line-up in order to support Cardiac Surgeons and Heart Failure Cardiologists across the US. With our continued success, we are looking to expand our commercial team. You will work closely with our cardiology sales and clinical team who will be responsible for driving growth across the designated territory. Through our Impella® product portfolio you will enable physicians and staff to recover hearts and save patients’ lives.

We are looking for a dynamic sales leader that can motivate and lead teams to produce exceptional results. In this position you will manage the sales and clinical teams for their assigned territory and nurture our culture of trust, honor, and integrity. You must showcase proven success developing & executing sales strategies that result in the achievement of sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the region’s sales activities that result in meeting annual growth and revenue objectives Set sales targets and forecasts

  • Identify, hire, retain and develop talent through proactively managing performance. Develop strategies for launching new accounts and greater penetration in existing accounts

  • Establish effective communications with executives and managers across the company to ensure proper sensitivity to the needs of sales

  • Lead difficult sales negotiations, especially with larger prospects

  • Collaborate with functional departments of the company, specifically but not limited to Operations, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Regulatory, and Clinical Affairs

  • Liaise with Marketing and Professional Education to further develop value added strategies, tools, programs and services

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience medical device cardiovascular space

  • 10+ years of management experience of a field commercial team Bachelors or advanced degree required; MBA Preferred

  • Proven track record of success in managing a growing sales organization Ability to gain cooperation of others and lead team members

  • Ability to negotiate and influence senior level leaders & KOLs within Texas region

  • Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Working knowledge of SAP desired Ability to travel up to 60%

  • Conduct duties and responsibilities in accordance with all state and federal laws and regulations governing the medical device industry required

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $150,00

  • The Company maintains a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for participation in this program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.

  • This position is eligible for a car allowance through the Company’s Motus program.

§ Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

§ Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

§ This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

§ Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
