Are you a highly skilled senior scientist, passionate about neuroscience and interested in making a real impact in the field? As a Senior Scientist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design and coordination of translational studies to identify new biomarkers, clinical endpoints, and related goals for precision intervention in neuroscience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support translational initiatives, including the development of preclinical and Phase 0 studies for biomarker and clinical endpoint discovery.

  • Conduct and interpret the translation of research to human clinical trials.

  • Contribute to clinical research studies, including data analysis, quality control, study design, and protocol development.

  • Support external collaborations and innovation projects, such as government-funded initiatives or collaborative research programs.

  • Assist in maintaining clinical and patient safety, as well as regulatory compliance.

  • Draft study documentation and findings for regulatory submissions.

  • Create project plans, including financial estimates, outcomes, schedules, and potential challenges.

  • Monitor and review information to draw appropriate conclusions.

  • Report on the advancement of project goals to Neuroscience Translation leadership.

  • Address challenges and facilitate problem-solving among team members.

  • Drive effective communication and coordination between various teams to ensure alignment.

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis to identify opportunities and potential risks.

  • Assist in the risk assessments for strategic projects.

Qualifications

  • MS or PhD degree with 4 years of experience in Neuroscience, Medicine, Bioinformatics, or a related field is highly preferred.

  • Experience in pre-clinical and clinical settings in Pharma or Biotech is required.

  • Strong influential skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams is required.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities is required.

  • Ability to navigate complex relationships in a matrix and cross-functional environment is required.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to think long term is required.

  • Strong strategic and analytical skills to make data-driven recommendations is required.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex ideas to stakeholders is required.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret and leverage data for decision making is required.

  • Experience in scientific program management in early discovery is preferred.

  • Expertise in Neuroscience Biomarkers and Biosignatures is preferred.

  • Bioinformatics/Data science capabilities is preferred.

  • Up to 10% travel may be required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $104,000 to $166,750.

Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

– Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

– Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

– Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

– Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
