The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will primarily oversee our specialty restaurant, Blue Point which is open seasonal and will transition thereafter to the Outlets. Blue Point is free-standing restaurant with its panoramic water views and outdoor patio is “The” place to take in the best sunset that Chesapeake has to offer. The Job responsibilities include but is not limited to:

  • Oversee the seamless operation of our Restaurant, as a pivotal role in the day-to-day management

  • Lead the training and development initiatives for all team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

  • Work hands-on with the F&B team to drive constant improvement and innovation in service and offerings

  • Efficiently manage rosters and payroll costs to optimize operational efficiencies

  • Strive for excellence in guest experience scores, ensuring that every visit exceeds expectations

  • Implement effective ordering and stock control measures to maintain optimal inventory levels

  • Ensure a high level of service excellence to enhance the overall guest experience

  • Address guest feedback and concerns promptly and professionally.

  • Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, emphasizing the importance of outstanding guest service

  • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures

Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated with strong leadership, communication and administration skills 

  • A passion for F&B and pride in ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction

  • Previous experience in restaurant management, preferably within a hotel setting

  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including bar service

  • Familiarity with restaurant management software and hotel property management systems

  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing guest demands

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
