Hyatt Sales Systems Administrator in CAMBRIDGE, Maryland

The Sales Systems Administrator must be a highly motivated individual who is eager and ready to accept additional responsibilities when needed. This position is responsible for maintaining all of the sales and events systems, reporting, analysis, some business development and providing administrative support to Director of Sales, Events & Marketing as well as system support for Sales and Events team.
What You'll Do:
Maintaining all sales and events systems.
Preparing reports and analysis.
Provide support to the Director of Sales and Sales team.
Assist Sales Managers with administrative duties including but not limited to word processing, account management, presentation preparation and customer follow up.
Coordinate account client needs and client events.
Will maintain files, systems and communication to other departments as directed by sales managers.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills on assignments.
Work on business development projects for new resort accounts.
This person must maintain calendars/meeting and travel plans for supervisors.
Assisting with contracts and blocking meeting space.

Qualifications:
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
Refined verbal and written communication skills.
Must have basic hospitality industry knowledge.
Must be able to work independently and confidently.
At least one year of sales/catering experience is a plus.
Must be able to establish professional relationships within the hotel and manage confidential information.
Strengths must include knowledge of power point, excel, and word programs.
Flexibility in work schedule is a plus.
Must be highly organized.
Must be detailed oriented.
