Description:
You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr. for our Missiles and Fire Control business area in Camden, Arkansas, where you will play a critical role in developing best-in-class products and solutions. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing advanced mechanical systems and components for our products.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer Sr., you will be responsible for developing tooling and equipment designs, providing engineering support to the production floor, and researching, planning, designing, and developing mechanical products and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze and solve complex problems, and apply your knowledge of mechanical engineering principles to design and develop innovative solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications
• Providing engineering support to the production floor for issues that may surface in normal day-to-day integration processes
• Researching, planning, designing, and developing mechanical products and systems
• Applying research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems
• Interpreting complex engineering drawings and utilizing Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline and/or combined experience/education
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance, therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to work in an ordnance facility
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
• Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Knowledgeable of machine / tool mechanical design
• Knowledgeable of general manufacturing / integration processes
• Knowledgeable of hand tools and the ability to teach use of hand tools
Desired Skills:
• Proficient with MS Office suite
• Experience with AutoCAD, CREO, or Solid Works
• Knowledgeable of hydraulic and pneumatic systems/equipment used in a Manufacturing Environment
• Knowledgeable of engineering materials
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
