You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Senior for our Engineering team. Our team is responsible for designing and developing tooling and equipment to support the production of complex mechanical systems, including the HIMARS launcher.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing solutions to drive production efficiency and quality. Your responsibilities will include:

•Designing and documenting tooling and equipment using Pro-Engineer/Solid Works

•Providing engineering support to the production floor to resolve issues and improve processes

•Researching and developing mechanical products and systems, including instruments, controls, and machines

•Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems

Basic Qualifications:

Candidate should have a good understanding and demonstrated application of technical and problem-solving skills in manufacturing and production.

The ability to translate technical drawings and specifications into practical manufacturing instructions is essential.

Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including team building, collaboration, and developing enduring business relationships throughout all levels of the

organization.

Competent with mechanical manufacturing and mechanical assembly.

Competent with bill of materials (BoMs) and Indentured Parts Lists (IPL).

Desired Skills:

- Ability to identify and solve complex issues on HIMARS launchers.

- Experience and knowledge of how HIMARS operates and the testing of the systems

- Proficient with MS Office suite

- Knowledgeable of machine / tool mechanical design

- Knowledgeable of general manufacturing processes

- Proficiency with Pro-Engineer (or comparable) CAD System

- Knowledgeable of engineering materials

- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
