Description:
You will be the Software Quality Engineer Staff for Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control campus in Camden, Arkansas. Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support the production and validation of sophisticated hardware for the Department of Defense (DOD) and our allies.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Software Quality Engineer Staff, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a variety of software tools to operate the business efficiently and effectively while meeting Quality objectives. You will also set technical direction, interact with functional leaders, guide the selection of projects, and mentor team members.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
•Developing computer programs, apps, scripts, macros, etc. to automate tasks, speed execution, improve accuracy, reduce manual processing, mistake-proof tasks, and realize cost savings
•Collecting, aggregating, analyzing, and reporting data to provide insight for making informed decisions
•Creating and maintaining communication platforms, web pages, etc. to improve dissemination of information and provide central access points to user-targeted tools or data

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline from an accredited college (computer science/data/engineering field or STEM discipline) or equivalent experience/combined education
•Computer programming/software development experience
•Ability to acquire and maintain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
•Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field or higher preferred.
•Object-oriented and scripting languages
•Front-end/back-end (full-stack) development
•Web development, API, AI/machine learning
•Cyber-data security/integrity and sensitive information protection
•SAP, Apriso
•Lean/Six Sigma techniques and Statistical Process Control concepts
•Quality Management System exposure (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
