We are seeking a candidate with experience in program Configuration Management (CM) and Data management (DM) processes, procedures, and tools. The candidate will be supporting the FBM program implementation of new and existing hardware Configuration documentation requirements. The CM candidate must have a sound understanding of CM life-cycle activities and how to appropriately apply the principles of EIA 649.

You will be expected to work closely with program leaders and lead multiple engineering groups to the best, unified solution that meets overall system performance requirements, cost, and schedule needs.

As an FBM Configuration Management Analyst, you will:

• Be responsible for release process of documentation, processing CDRLs/SDRLs in accordance with the Contract SOW, Subcontract’s SOWs, 1423s, and DD250s.

• Be responsible for data repository configuration control. Candidate will support the FBM team members with markings, formatting, and handling of any documentation as necessary. FBM team receives tasking from various levels of management, and candidate must be receptive to assisting in all possible areas.

• Provide general instruction, direction, coordination and implementation of configuration management requirements, policies, and practices pertaining to configuration identification (i.e. baseline documentation, hardware, and software) in accordance with business and contract requirements.

• Candidate will be responsible for capturing Electronic Data Files in all areas.

• Chair/Co-chair change boards and review boards, as required.

• Ensure program compliance to CM/DM requirements for baseline control, document control and document release.

• Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with Engineering, Quality, Support, Manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.

This position also offers opportunities to provide CM support in the preparation and integration of some specialized program activities to ensure compliance with existing CM procedures, processes, needed to create new and improved program metric data to help assess program health.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to execute, and adhere to contract, company, and/or government requirements/policies

• Experience working in a collaborative environment with different groups to complete individual tasks in support of a shared goal or deadline

• Experience with Co-Chairing change boards and review boards as required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience reading and implementing Contract/Subcontract Deliverable Requirements Lists, including knowledge of and/or experience with scheduling, tracking, submitting data, and working with data repositories.

• FBM team receives tasking from various levels of management, and candidate must be receptive to assisting in all possible areas

• Maintain a document number system and providing document numbers, as required.

• Knowledge of contract proposals for DOD Contracts

• US citizenship with ability to obtain Secret Clearance

Desired Skills:

• Understanding of EIA-649, the National Consensus Standard for Configuration Management

• Able to work Contract Proposals inputs and execution once awarded.

• Configuration Management skills on sophisticated systems with experience in two or more of the following areas: Engineering Review, Audit, and Release, Product Identification, Change Control including change board management and/or multi-discipline reviews, and Status Accounting.

• Analytical skills to follow and understand relationships of hardware and software systems.

• Experience with Enterprise Product Data Management (PDM) tools.

• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to comprehend and work successfully with complex systems.

• An understanding/knowledge of related disciplines, particularly familiarization with hardware engineering methods and processes to include supporting hardware reviews and configuration audits.

• Experience using tools associated with configuration management, such as JIRA/Confluence and SharePoint, or other workgroup collaboration tools.

• Familiarity with DoD contracts.

• Contract and/or subcontract management experience.

• Experience proposing and/or implementing process improvements especially those embracing Configuration Management Digital Transformation initiatives.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $71,000 - $136,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
