Job Description
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies such as modules, boards, panes, drawers, frames, and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Makes continuity checks on work in process is completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.
This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High school diploma or GED
Good computer skills (Microsoft word/excel)
Good communication skills
Must be capable of lifting and/or handling heavy parts, material, or equipment
Ability to work as a strong team member and contributor
High attention to detail
Self-motivated
Ability to solder multiple components
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
J-Standard for circuit card assembly is a plus
Prior certification to NASA 8739, J-Standard 001 for circuit card assembly.
Mechanically inclined (preferred but not required)
Soldering experience is a plus
Ability to operate semi-automatic manufacturing equipment for Circuit Card Assembly Manufacturing
In-process and quality microscope inspection skills to IPC-610 is a plus.
Pay Information
This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will determine your wages.
