Northrop Grumman Financial Analyst in Chandler, Arizona

Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.

Northrop Grumman Flight Systems is seeking a Financial Analyst 2 to join us in the pursuit of top-tier financial performance. The position is based in Chandler, Arizona. This position will report to the Flight Systems Division Manager of Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis and will have the following responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

  • Financial forecasting, reporting and analysis, profitability analysis, and working capital analysis.

  • Work with the finance and business management teams to provide variance analyses.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for Division leadership.

  • Help consolidate Flight Systems Division's Long Range Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan.

  • Interface with business, program, and Division personnel.

  • Perform miscellaneous financial analyses and ad hoc projects as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Accounting, Finance, Economics

  • Minimum of 3years of finance or accounting experience, or other related experience or a Master's Degree with 1 years of related experience.

  • Strong analytical ability

  • Intermediate knowledge Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Costpoint, SAP, Cognos TM1, Hyperion Planning software (or other similar software), database software.

  • Expertise in financial analysis

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
