Job Description:

The Employee Technology Finance team is part of the Global Technology & Operation (GTO) Finance organization. The primary focus of our team is actively partnering with the Employee Technology group to manage Technology expenses within approved funding levels with appropriate governance processes and controls. Our business partners include Employee Technology teams, LOB CIO teams and various line of businesses key stakeholders. Key priorities for our team are accurate and relevant P&L planning, forecasting and reporting Employee Technology spend while enabling our partners to deliver high quality technology solutions across the enterprise.

Generally, the work routine occurs along the following timeline, annual planning cycle, monthly and quarterly forecasting, weekly staff meetings (Technology and Finance) and managing ad-hoc support. As part of the responsibilities of the role, the teammate will develop business partner relationships with multiple Technology support teams and Line of Business client face-off's. Throughout the tenure of the role, the teammate should gain exposure and leverage his/her financial acumen in active financial management of multiple large and complex organizations, and develop or improve the following skills: Expense management, Resource Management, Governance and Controls, and Managing Financial Risk. Will lead two analysts on day to day activities.

This particular role focuses on managing the budget for GHR and CAO Tech, and Enterprise User Experience/User Interface groups.

  • Supporting forecasting activities for the Technology groups above

  • Supporting monthly financial process by providing variance analyses, and reviews with management.

  • Business Partnering with the Technology Executives and their COOs- acting as SMEs on financial matters

  • Partnering with the LOB Finance teams to address things such as Cost of IT Bill and Allocations

  • Supporting the software capitalization process for the group

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance

  • 7+ years financial experience

  • Strong financial analytics experience

  • Advanced experience/skills with Excel and complex spreadsheets

  • Candidate must be able to work both independently and as team member

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Control focused, analytical, team oriented, comfortable with high levels of multi-tasking

  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities (Excel/Essbase)

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Hyperion/SAP

  • Understanding of Technology Initiative process and Allocation process
