Job Description:

Job Description: The Global Markets Risk (GMR) COO team is responsible for ensuring “best-in-class” and consistent risk governance processes across GMR. The team supports a number of Board and Governance/Management Risk Committee deliverables for GMFR, including organizing, reviewing and challenging submission materials. The team manages the detailed policy process, business operations, and risk and controls responsibilities. GMFR is looking for a highly motivated individual to support key risk governance and strategy deliverables. Given the team’s consolidated view of the GMFR organization, the team also supports key deliverables for the Global Markets Chief Risk Officer, including internal and external presentations, consolidated risk reporting and analysis, and briefing materials.

Key Responsibilities

-Supporting the policy and procedures team as needed to ensure key steps in the process are implemented

-Managing process from the design to implementation phase and ensuring sound communication and coordination

-Drafting written executive-level communications (e.g., memos and presentations) as needed

-Supporting key deliverables for the regional GMR Chief Risk Officer, including internal and external presentations and briefings

-Performing ad-hoc analysis on various risk and regulatory topics Engaging with Legal and Regulatory Relations teams in responding to regulatory inquires and issues

-Developing and coordinating an internal timeline of deliverables across numerous priorities, and working to ensure that deadlines are met on time

-Supporting the GMR COO team globally on various activities including: business operations, business controls and strategic priorities

Required Job Skills

• Understanding of basic concepts related to Governance and Market Risk

• Familiarity with redactions for the SEC

• Ability to draft speaker notes and minutes after meetings

• Excellent documentation skills

• Clear and concise verbal communication skills, to engage with stakeholders across regions and teams in Global Risk LOB

• Key traits including ability to multi-task, affinity towards team working, focus on deliverables, flexibility to reskill/redeploy as per firm's requirements and clarity in professional development expectations

Desired Job Skills

• Expertise in use of applications in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel, PPTX and Outlook

• Ability to draft process flows, minutes and speaker notes

• Attention to detail
