Job Description:

This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of large program deliverables which requires engagement across multiple organizations. Key responsibilities include communicating target outcomes, coordinating delivery, resource planning, providing visibility of program health, and managing program risks, compliance and financials. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the target outcomes, timeline, and cost and facilitating sync points between business and technology leaders and Risk and Compliance partners.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Client Servicing OpEx Portfolio Lead, the role will work closely with Lending & Specialty Payment LOB partners and RPSWT (Retail, Preferred, Small Business and Wealth Technology) technology leads to deliver strategic solutions required to meet the needs of our clients and achieve expected business results. This is a high profile role requiring coordination of key stakeholders and presentation of progress updates to senior leaders across Digital, Business, and Technology. The successful applicant will have a strong technology background to enable effective coordination and delivery with the system leads across the organization. Product knowledge alongside working knowledge of Digital solutions is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery of large programs, such as kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates

  • Broadens relationships with business and technology leaders across multiple organizations, as well as Compliance and Risk

  • Establishes target outcomes in partnership with stakeholders and leaders

  • Tracks success metrics and provides status updates to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to the target outcomes, delivery, performance, risks, issues, and schedule

  • Collaborates with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements

  • Manages program financials and supports resource planning

  • Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards

  • Responsible for the planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables for 2-3 large programs which requires engagement from teams across multiple organizations.

  • Communicates the target outcomes, coordinates delivery, manages risks, ensures compliance to standards, and provides visibility into the health of the program.

  • Ensures execution and delivery meets the clients expectations in terms of the target outcomes, timeline, and cost.

  • Manages financials for the program, assist with resource planning, and facilitate sync points between business and technology leaders across multiple organizations.

  • Establishes and builds relationships with business and technology leaders across multiple organizations.

  • Coordinates and facilitates the program routines - e.g. kick-off, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc.

  • Responsible for the Planning Phase of each project within the Program; responsible for coordinating with architecture to create target state solutions, sources estimates from all impacted technology teams in order to provide a holistic tech investment cost for the project(s) and works across various tech organizations to secure capacity for execution.

  • Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to achieve outcomes and timeline and serves as a liaison to support clearing risks and issues that impact scope, budget and timeline.

  • Responsible for providing status updates to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, financials and schedule. Roles is an Individual Contributor.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Program Management and experience is managing large programs with funding $15MM+ 5+ years financial sector/banking experience

  • Demonstrates ability to build strong partnerships and being able to influence business partners, peers as well as Technology partners

  • Can operate at Senior levels as well as detailed levels

  • Demonstrates ability to think horizontally and ability to go into the details of the solutions

  • Ability to work the matrix

  • Good sense of judgment, knows when to escalate and how to manage expectations

  • Works among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward

  • Continuous and adaptable learner
