Job Description:

This role is responsible for defining the vision and roadmap for a product or technology solution, defining and prioritizing deliverables in the product book of work, and articulating this to both business stakeholders and technology development teams. The Sr. Product Owner/Sr. Business Analyst is experienced in the role of a Product Owner, expert of the product, and have a deep understanding of the business and/or technology domain, while also having advance quantitative/analytic skills to influence the Financial Crimes program strategic transaction monitoring and data management direction.

Global Financial Crimes is looking for a Senior Product Owner for its Network Analytics/ Network Graph capabilities. The Network Graph capabilities consists of Customer, Transactional and Financial Crimes related data and is utilized by both the Financial Crimes Analytics Team and Financial Crimes Investigations.

The selected candidate will be responsible for defining and directing product design and delivery to align with end user needs/wants for Global Financial Crimes Transaction Monitoring applications. More specifically, the incumbent will define requirements/features user specification, as well as prioritizing technology team timelines and order of completion for the defined work, while also providing periodic updates of the work to senior management.

• Create the vision and roadmap for the product to align with strategic direction for the business or technology domain.

• Communicate the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and the team, and drive user adoption.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, problems, and align them on priorities.

• Create and prioritize work for multiple teams. Experienced with cross-functional teams

• Create and prioritize stories in the product backlog.

• Refine stories with the team to ensure there are enough “ready” stories to load the next 1-2 sprints.

• Review and accept stories and make on-the-spot decisions regarding scope and requirements.

• Work in partnership with the team to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and through an advanced understanding of the business.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of agile development environment, preferably Product Management or Product Owner Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience with Network Graph Solutions (TigerGraph, Neo4J, etc)

  • Solid understanding of both graph and relational database concepts, as well as demonstrated hands-on experience with both.

  • Experience with the development of Graph Neural Networks to identify anamolies/business insights

  • Exposure to Graph Algorithms.

  • Experience in roles requiring advanced communication capabilities and interpersonal skills & the creation and delivery of succinct presentations to explain product vision and strategy

  • Advanced ability to use analytics, research and other methodologies to drive business decisions, diagnose problems and recommend action plans to remediate issues, inclusive of leveraging database level tools such as SQL/GSQL.

  • Ability to prioritize business needs and properly manage tasks among competing initiatives

  • Comfortable managing concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced, matrix environment

  • Must possess excellent time-management, problem solving, and critical thinking capabilities

  • Excellent skills in communication, presentation, facilitation and negotiation

  • Ability to identify, escalate and communicate issues and progress to senior management in an effective and succinct manner

  • Experienced in developing and executing user acceptance testing for technology changes

  • Experience working with large volumes of data (Transactional and or Client) and performance tuning.

Desired Qualifications

  • SAFE Agile Product Manager Certification (or equivalent)

  • Knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) regulations

  • Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification;

  • Issues management experience, with an ability to clearly identify problems and drive solutions.
