This job is responsible for driving and executing on internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business (LOB) or Enterprise Control Function (ECF). Key responsibilities include providing analytical and administrative support for LOB or ECF specific processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide standards. Job expectations include monitoring and testing controls and implementing quality assurance and quality control processes within the LOB or ECF by evaluating data to help identify, track, and report issues and control improvements for remediation.
The candidate will be executing delivery against technology priorities- effectively manage, drive, support and govern the execution of Independent Technical Assessments or Program Execution supporting critical technology priorities with the required level of urgency and intensity. Candidate would be responsible for aggregating data from multiple sources/partners, incorporating data in value-add report formats and ensuring report generation and delivery processes are efficient, reliable, and accurate.
Responsibilities:
Oversees the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment to support Client Operational Services and ensure adherence to enterprise-wide standards
Supports the overall management of and research required for regulatory exams, internal audits, and other monitoring and inspection reviews and evaluates data and information relevant to inspection metrics to support governance activities for dashboard reporting
Influence, gather information, challenge and interrogate the data, and work collaboratively across a broad spectrum of partners and stakeholders across multiple lines of business
Produce frequent reporting on critical risk, performance and operational measures
Work closely with stakeholders, data providers and teams across the enterprise to gather key data and metrics for input into Global Technology and enterprise wide scorecards
Critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile variances and present complex data in a coherent manner and tailored to various audiences
Challenge and interrogate data for inconsistencies
Collaborate closely with technology and business partners to develop and implement future state reporting routines and improve existing routines
Respond to senior executive requests for metric information and analysis
Required Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience in a data analyst, ETL role and at least five years of experience designing and developing business intelligence dashboards
Expert in Excel, Tableau and Alteryx supporting development of measurements, reporting/dashboards and data analytics
Experience working with large and complex data set able to write queries to create calculated fields
Good understanding of data models and data warehousing
Experience managing the lifecycle of analytics dashboards, including business requirements gathering, functional specification write-ups, prototyping, development, quality testing, user acceptance testing, roll-out and post-launch enhancements implementation
Hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop (dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting, data source management)
Ability to design, develop, validate, and troubleshoot ETL workflows and datasets in Alteryx
Experience managing end to end complex data migration, conversion and data modeling and creating visualizations to develop high quality dashboards
Proven presentation skills (written and oral)
