This position is responsible for Integrates, coordinates and deploys process improvement methods, tools and departmental governance structures to advise management, team leaders and team members of the value and cost impacts from decisions surrounding these functions. Provides technical assistance to Business Process Management (BPM) team members to develop work plans, support quality controls, document process inventory integration points, and facilitate communications between team members to ensure consistency across business processes. Responsible for developing initial process specifications and facilitation of pre-workshop meetings, facilitating workshops and finalizing business process improvements through post-workshop follow-up. This position is responsible for developing and assisting with the deployment of business processes within applicable governance structures across associated peer groups and jursdictions.
Design, develop, and facilitate the completion of business and project process maps, RACI matrices, Standard Operating Processes and related business requirements for assigned Grid Soltuions projects in accordance with guidelines established by Business Process Management (BPM) methodology and governance.
Responsbile for quality assurance & control reviews of final process development deliverables, effective socialization and transition support of process deliverables from the project to the business.
In addition, supporting documentation includes process procedure narratives, process organizational impacts including issues, risks and assumptions for each business process and documentation of open and made decisions generated during process development workshops
Plan, schedule, facilitate and lead process development workshops and socialization meetings to review the process documentation with process owners, front-line managers, change management, and appropriate process stakeholders.
Ensures proper documentation of risks, assumptions, issues and decisions related to the process/s and responsible for the escalation of key issues and or actions where applicable.
Bachelors degree plus 1-3 years of work related experience.
3-5 years work related experience in lieu of a degree.
Knowledge of Business Process Management fundamentals
Proficient in use of Microsoft Products (PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, Excel)
Proficient in process mapping tools
Accuracy and attention to details
Strong technical writing skills (Documentation Designer role only)
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization, both written and verbally
Relationship management skills
Workshop facilitation skills (Process Designer)
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work independently to set and meet targets
Ability to work well in team environment
