Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to join our team who will have the opportunity to champion our Caterpillar IT Division . The incumbent would Provide Quality Assurance services for Enterprise Applications.

The preference for this role is to be based out of Whitefield, Bangalore -India

What you will do

Job Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop automation system for testing of Enterprise applications.

  • Perform End-to-End and White box testing.

  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

  • Understand the scope of testing and review of requirements, document and prepare the test case based on the acceptance criteria.

  • Utilize strong debugging skills to identify and resolve technical issues.

  • Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves common technical problems. Escalates as per procedures.

What you will have

  • 2+ years of experience in testing, quality assurance, tools, process and automation

  • Familiarity with testing and quality assurance tools, such as HP ALM, Jira or Azure devops

  • Proficiency in any one automation tool selenium

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders.

  • Sound knowledge on OOPS, and Core Java

  • Expertise in automation using any of the automation tool (preferably Cypress/Selenium)

  • Experience in API Automation and API testing is a must.

  • Experience in development & maintenance of test scenarios & automation scripts.

  • Working knowledge on Core java/JavaScript

  • Knowledge to integrate Automation suite with DevOps pipeline and maintenance.

  • Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to adapt to evolving requirements and technologies.

  • Good knowledge on AWS cloud services

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
