This position is primarily responsible for the configuration, maintenance and support of the PeopleSoft system to ensure system meets service, quality and availability expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide production support and maintenance of all PeopleSoft modules including Core HR, Compensation, Performance and Talent Management
  • Maintain and enhance the security and organizational structure in PeopleSoft
  • Work directly with the business customers to define enhancement requirements and configure within the system as needed
  • Document system enhancement and issue items as needed to coordinate changes with system developers
  • System related project management as needed
  • Troubleshoot and support existing interfaces and integrations with 3rd party applications, coordinating efforts with the Integrations Team as applicable.
  • Development and maintenance of end-user guides, training documentation and system administration guides
  • Perform application testing for configuration or system-related changes to modules within PeopleSoft
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of a variety of company documents and systems * Perform mass uploads of data using Excel to CI process and validate results * Test system changes (enhancements, bug fixes, etc.); writing test scripts as needed * Complete Tier 2 tickets; escalate issues as needed * Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values * The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing. Qualifications:

Experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years human resources system support OR 2 years other database system support required
  • 1-2 years human resources or payroll functional experience in a business analyst role preferred

    Education

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts preferred

    Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job

  • Microsoft Office application (Word, PowerPoint) intermediate proficiency required

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables) preferred
  • PeopleSoft HCM; including PS Query (or other SQL based reporting) or similar HR System experience
  • Relational Database knowledge
