Kellanova Associate Director, Finance in Chicago, Illinois

As an Associate Director, you will support our Sales Finance team. Acting as the key Finance business partner, you will be responsible for creating a strategic vision along with the day-to-day delivery of company objectives. While you are at it, you will be building your network and expertise in a thriving environment of professional development. We are looking for top talent in Battle Creek, MI or Chicago, IL.

Working cross-functionally, you will get to collaborate with creative and innovative finance and commercial professionals. We will look to you to challenge the status quo and influence decision-making. You will also play a key role in ensuring visibility into financial opportunities and integrity of our financial statements.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Financial Management – Your financial acumen will drive our future with confidence. You will be responsible for leading our planning and forecasting processes, special project work, and expanding our customer profitability capabilities. Understanding the future impact of today’s choices is a key component of success in this role.

  • Strategic Planning – We are looking for someone with both a strategic mindset and the ability to work in the details.

  • Direct Business Partnering – You will partner closely with the Sales Teams, Category Teams, GBS, and other functions while providing financial visibility and analysis.

    We’re Looking for Someone With

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Finance/Business related field and/or significant related work experience.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).

  • Attention to detail and strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.

  • Practical experience understanding the link between business issues and P&L/Cash Flow.

  • Pivots and large data manipulation ability.

  • Experience with SAP-specific financial planning systems is preferred.

  • CPG Experience with proficient knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and other financial planning systems is a plus.
